Staying Focused In a Distractive World

It is no secret that the world is deteriorating over time, although it may appear to be improving in some aspects, depending on one's point of view. To some, they will complain about the economy, while others will rant about corruption, bad governance, and politicians. Some will complain about the poor amenities, and many will blame inflation for their problems.

But in that same way, in that same world, there are a lot of people complaining and ranting bitterly about their existence and what they are facing in their part of the world. There are some people who never even thought about complaining. They got almost everything they needed.

While some are complaining about the economy, they don't complain because they have everything at their fingertips, while some are complaining about corrupt politicians, there are some who are benefiting massively from these sets of people. Help me tell them why you tagged them as corrupt politicians if they will admit it.

So that's the world we live in, fingers are not equal, and the world was never a smooth place; it's kinda rough on all edges. So it's left to you to know whether to paddle your canoe or just lift it on your head instead,

Most distractions youth of our times face are the fear of poverty and the inability to work hard. They proved to work smarter, and felt that this should be the best way to overcome poverty. Our youths, even some teenagers, are already getting themselves involved in these trends.

When you ask them why they are in a hurry, they tell you “No Time”. Oooh. They just can’t wait.

And when you further ask them, what if you get all of this money, what will you do with it?

They tell you they want to ride the latest car, have a nice apartment, and most importantly, have the money to woo ladies of their choice.

So what after that??

They got nothing more, they just want to enjoy their moment, they just don't care or think about anything relating to their future. And that's the poor part of it.

The pressure gets heavier because they don't want the world to see them as someone who doesn't have money anymore, especially when they realize that everything is going down for them.

So you might want to ask me how I have been able to cope in this distracted world of ours?

I have tried so much to practice some things over time, and it has helped me so much with my life.

I have learned to put God above everything, pray when it's hard, and be appreciative when it’s easy. With this, I have had a mindset that whatever I want and I can't get it, they were not meant to be for me. What's meant to be mine will never pass me by.

I have also learned to practice patience and contentment. I try as much as possible not to be the lazy type, and I also make sure I strive for better, not at the expense of being hasty or creating inconvenience for others.
