A safe world is a peaceful one.

I don't know, we always have it so hard to admit that we are the cause of our own problems, especially in this part of the world where I am. Nigeria is a country that's blessed with a lot of natural resources, good soils, nice weather and many more. But it seems we see all of these things as a problem to our existence.

When it rains here, we have a poor drainage system, but at least water would surely find its way out, it will pave its way. I think we should just let it be. But Nop, we actually see it as an advantage to dump all of the refuse we have piled up for long in anticipation of the rainfall.

Then all of a sudden you begin to realize that there is some overflow of water that may lead to flooding in some areas where there shouldn't be any. This is not a natural disaster in any way. It's just an artificial disaster we caused upon ourselves.

There are a lot of things we can do to keep our environment clean and safe. If these are done then we can be rest assured that we can have a peaceful world around us.

Tips

Proper Drainage: I feel there should be provision for a proper drainage system, which will aid good flow of water and avoid disasters like flooding.

Incineration: There should also be provision for good waste disposal. If there are places where people can drop their waste then it will surely avoid them waiting for the rainfall and causing water pollution across the nation.

Safe the greens: one way I think it's best to have a good environment is to try as much to encourage afforestation and avoid deforestation. The more we keep reducing the forest product we have, the more unsave and unhealthy the world around remains unsave.

Reduce pollution: One of the worst forms of pollution we have is air pollution. It's most times the one we tend to overlook and underestimate the most but has a greater effect on our lives. If this should be drastically reduced will go a long way in saving the world around us.
