[ENG/DEU] Daily Report, News, Raffle, CCD Repurchase & Burn
Welcome back to the daily status report. As in previous days, here is a brief activity report, news, status report on the CCD, and, as always, a small raffle.
Willkommen zurück zum täglichen Statusreport. Wie auch die letzten Tage ein kleiner Tätigkeitsbericht, Neuigkeiten, der Statusreport zum CCD und wie immer inklusive kleiner Verlosung.
What I did today:
I woke up full of energy and went straight to integrating online what I built offline yesterday. Good. Just quickly cleaning up the server for a moment...
And crashed the main website...
Totally awesome when you haven’t even finished your first coffee yet... I won’t go into detail because it would be too technical. What matters: I was able to fix it within about 2 hours. cryptocompany.ceo is running again. Yes, I did lose something I currently can’t restore, but… fine… I won’t explain it... Whoever knows the keyword can guess what happened: “unknown symlinks on the server, which only become noticeable after you’ve already deleted data” LOL...
After a short breather I could finally start porting the new function to the web. I won’t reveal yet what this new “function” is. I don’t want to call it “service” or “game.” Let’s just keep some excitement and stay curious. I’ll probably drop a few spoilers over the coming days until the release. ;-)
I expect we’ll be able to welcome the new feature next week. Right now, I’m working on setting up the automatic token transfers to winners. (First spoiler!)
Of course, I don’t need to report every single one of the daily standard tasks… Let’s move on to today’s CCD data!
After I invested 60 HIVE yesterday and raised the price in the CCD:HIVE.SWAP Diesel Pool, closing the gap between buy and sell prices, the bot activity stopped abruptly today. Some (especially bot operators) consider bot trading beneficial. Personally, I find it problematic for “smaller projects,” because they often operate with amounts that smaller projects simply can’t counter. Practically, the market is no longer regulated by human token holders, but by bots — and the human token holders are at their mercy. But of course, the bots are still active and just waiting for a better margin. This must therefore be avoided permanently, at least until human trading has regained sufficient momentum.
Today I only bought 1,000 CCD tokens, since I need to keep finances together — the next server and domain bills are around the corner... And as the current balance isn’t very high and bot operators are still blocking the price limits, I see no point in throwing the few HIVE straight into the bots’ mouths. I’d rather save and accumulate to be able to act more effectively later, instead of pampering the bot operators today. The token and pool price has held steady from yesterday to today. All of this in the overview:

Voller Energie aufgestanden und direkt daran gehen, online zu integrieren, was ich gestern offline gebaut habe. Gut. Nur kurz den Server mal kurz bereinigen...

Total geil, wenn du noch nicht mal den ersten Kaffee fertig hast... Ich gehe jetzt nicht ins Detail, da es zu technisch wäre. Wichtig ist: ich konnte es innerhalb von etwa 2 Stunden wieder beheben. cryptocompany.ceo läuft wieder. Ja, ich habe etwas verloren, was ich gerade nicht wieder herstellen kann, aber... Gut... Ich erklär's euch nicht... Wem das Schlagwort was sagt, der kann erahnen was passiert ist: "mir unbekannt Symlinks auf dem Server, welche erst auffallen, wenn man schon Daten gelöscht hat" LOL...
Nach einer kurzen Verschnaufpause konnte ich dann beginnen, die neue Funktion ins Web zu portieren. Ich verrate noch nicht, was die neue "Funktion" ist. Ich will weder "Service" oder "Spiel" sagen. Lass uns einfach etwas Vorfreude haben und gespannt sein. Wahrscheinlich werde ich die nächsten Tage bis zur Veröffentlichung immer ein paar Spoiler einbauen. ;-)
Ich könnte davon ausgehen, dass wir die neue Funktion kommende Woche begrüßen dürfen. Aktuell bin ich gerade daran, die automatische Überweisungen der Token an Gewinner einzurichten. (Erster Spoiler!)
Klar, von den täglichen Standardaufgaben brauche ich nicht jeden Tag berichten... Lass uns zu den heutigen CCD Daten übergehen!
Nachdem ich gestern die 60 HIVE investiert und den Preis im CCD:HIVE.SWAP Diesel Pool angehoben habe und damit die Marge zwischen Ankauf- und Verkaufspreis geschlossen habe, hat heute schlagartig die Bot-Aktivität aufgehört. Manche (insbesondere Bot-Betreiber) erachten Bot-Handel ja als förderlich. Ich finde ihn für "kleinere Projekte" eher schwierig, da sie oftmals mit Summen agieren, gegen die kleinere Projekte kaum gegenhalten können. Praktisch wird dann nicht mehr der Markt reguliert von den menschlichen Tokeninhabern, sondern von Bots - und die menschlichen Tokeninhaber sind deren Gangart ausgeliefert. Aber natürlich sind die Bots weiter aufgeschalten und warten nur auf eine bessere Marge. Diese muss also dauerhaft vermieden werden. Zumindest bis menschlicher Handel wieder genug Ausmaß angenommen hat.
Heute habe ich nur 1000 CCD Token aufgekauft, da ich gerade die Finanzen zusammenhalten muss - die nächsten Rechnungen für Server und Domain sind in Sichtweite... Und da das aktuelle Guthaben aktuell nicht sehr hoch ist und auch Botbetreiber immernoch die Grenzen der Preise besetzen, sehe ich keinen Sinn darin, die wenigen HIVE den Botbetreibern in den Rachen zu werfen. Dann spare und akkumuliere ich das lieber, um dann wieder schlagkräftiger agieren zu können, statt heute die Botbetreiber zu streicheln. Der Token- und Pool-Preis hat sich von gestern auf heute gehalten. All dies in der Übersicht:

Now let's move on to the daily raffle. Today, I once again selected CryptoCompany supporters and gave them a ticket/field.
Unfortunately, the slot machine is not ready yet – I could give out more tickets without encountering performance issues. Of course, there are far more than 50 CryptoCompany supporters. Sorry if you didn't land on the wheel today... I'm glad that the slot machine will be ready soon – then everyone will get their field and thus their chance to win. Oh man... Kann mir gut vorstellen was da bei im Kopf abging als die Seite nicht mehr ging. [@PowerPaul:] Yeah, I get what you mean. And I thought about if I should include people which earn thousands of CCD per week. But on the other side it was/is important to me that I include big supporters too and it would be questionable if I don't include the biggest supporter. I try to mix it. Include top supporters, mid supporters and "small supporter" too. So that everybody has the chance to be included. Lastly everybody earned it... The bigger thing is that a selection of 50 supporters is to low - but the wheel is colapsing when I would include much more... I really need kind of a slot machine where I can include more supporters... Already in progress..
