The Joy and Simplicity of Caring for Our Pets - Feeding our Cute little Rabbits

Greetings to all pet lovers here on hive, most especially here @hivepets community. I'm here again to send you a warm virtual hug along with my not so especial story about our RABBITS.

Today is just an ordinary and normal day, but this day became special one because of rabbits! Yes ! Specially with my kids.

Our aunt came to our house bringing a sack with her, and inside it were rabbits. She asked if we wanted to buy them. When my children heard that she brought rabbits, they quickly ran outside to take a look. There were indeed three rabbits, though one of them was a bit small.

The kids played with them for a short while, but I told my aunt that I didn’t have money to buy them because we already have two rabbits downstairs—one white and one brown. The price she was asking for the three was quite expensive, so even though my children really wanted them, we didn’t buy them. We also don’t have space for more since the two we already have are enough.

The kids were a bit sad that we didn’t take the new ones, so I called them and we went to check on our rabbits downstairs. We happened to see my cousin feeding them when we arrived. We usually don’t let our rabbits out because they might run away and get chased by the dog, so we just feed them through the small gap in their cage. Even though their cage is simple, they don’t get wet when it rains or storms. We just make sure they always have enough food.

Their food is just simple, the one we called sayote tops, sometimes if there is carrots we give them. We have a lot of weeds that they can also eat. We feed them 3 times a day because this rabbit easily to get hungry. They are eating fresh and organic roots and vegetables.
