Catnip Crazy Maine Coons!
Hello friends we hope you are all doing well! It has been a lovely warm and humid day over here in London! We've finally been able to put the garden to good use now it's not soggy and flooded daily with the downpours. 😂
The garden gets quite muddy when it rains, the drainage isn't the best so often during the wetter seasons the cats don't get much garden time, which they love of course! As soon as they're able to run about and play outside they go crazy and refuse to come in for hours, the boys love their playtime!
I threw some catnip plants into a large planter a few weeks back to get some growth on them and natural catnip at the ready for the cats pleasure but today Apollo caught a whiff of the irresistible scent and started destroying my hard work 😂 he ripped apart that miniature garden real quick, it's lovely to see them enjoying the fresh catnip over the dried package kind we're used to buying.
Enjoy some more photos of Apollo enjoying his treasure and Herio lurking in the background, he knows what Apollo gets like when he's "high" on his catnip so he keeps his distance or he'll catch some slaps for no reason in true cat fashion hahaha
The photo below are my favourite from this little cat photoshoot, he looks so funny and adorable cleaning up himself after destroying my plants and covering himself in soil! He turned 4 not too long ago, so I think he's pretty much done growing for the most part, maine coons are big cats so they need a lot of space to run around and stretch their legs, so much energy to these boys!
