Frustration of power

Imagine going out in the morning running up and down during the day just to get some money in your pocket, going in the sun, being stressed out only to come back home in the evening to stay in a dark.

In most cases you come back with your phone battery drained with the hope and expectation that when you get home, you will charge your phone only to get home and meet a dark home.

This has been the case in my environment for months, in fact to think it is up to 8 months if I am not mistaken staying without power supply. so you have to make provision for your power you have to use your generator to operate some of the appliances in your house and the days you cannot afford fuel, you stay in the dark.
Imagine the frustration of not being able to preserve food in the refrigerator, so you have to keep cooking everyday.

it is very difficult and very annoying.
This was not supposed to be the case, when I moved in here because I had been told that plans were on the way to fix the power supply.
They brought equipment, necessary facilities and did some installations, but along the line everything pused for no reason, and there's no explanation to why we have not had our light fixed up till now. Nobody seems to be saying anything.

Everybody is quiet. All attempt to complain and report to the authorities have not yielded positive effort and of course this cannot be unconnected with slow nature of development caused by lackadaisical attitude of the government.

So basically everyone now becomes a government because we provide electricity for ourselves. Some people have acquired solar power system in their homes and of course you know it is very expensive not everyone can afford this. I'm just hoping, I will make some more money this year so I can also install solar facility in my house and not get to worry about this issue again, pending when they would finally remember us.
