I don’t know how we got here, but the content creation pandemic is at an all-time high, and it’s scary!! Very very scary!
I love content creation, I love it as it gives us the willpower to freely write, record, and design just anything, and also have people enjoy our content too.

In this context, I’d be referring to the TikTok content creators and every content creator out there who is running mad just for views and engagements.

I love how content creation is changing the world and through various platforms, the dissemination of information has become faster and smoother.

It’s always nice to see creators work their butt out to put themselves out there, talk about breaking the norm!

While I love content creators and appreciate the role every one of them plays, I can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that so many people want to be content creators by all means.

If there’s one thing that I always tell people, it would be that not everyone is cut out to be a content creator. It’s okay to be a content consumer and it’s very okay to enjoy consuming others' content without the thought of diving into it.

Today, everyone with a smartphone and a ring light giving unsolicited advice on the internet is a content creator.

How did we reduce such a beautiful craft to farming for views and engagement? How did we reduce content creation to chasing clouts and seeking validation, How??

This pandemic is a result of some content creators declaring their assets and the huge sums of money gotten from creating content. This has fueled the pandemic greatly as almost everyone believes that they can “blow” overnight by creating content, this has led to so many content creators doing ridiculous things just to “blow”!

This post was fueled by a content creator in my country who pulled a crazy stunt that left all of us in awe. While we are yet to recover from this, a good number of people feel stupid for falling for her scheme.
