Grateful for this amazing space!
Big appreciation to the founders and curators of AfriTunes. Thank you for creating a beautiful community that celebrates African sound, culture, and spirituality through music. Your consistency and intentionality are deeply inspiring.

I’m so glad to be able to share something special today a cover of “Your Way” by Prinx Emmanuel.
This song deeply blessed me in a season I couldn’t fully express with words. For over a week, it was the only song on repeat for me. Morning, noon, and night. It carried my heart to God in ways I can’t even explain.

There was something about the simplicity and depth of the lyrics, the Afrocentric vibe, and the anointing behind the song that spoke peace into my storm and steadied my soul.
So today, I thought, why not bring that sound here? Why not share what has already healed and lifted me with people who understand the power of music beyond melody?

This is the song lyrics;
I bin dey try to solve am like a mathematics
you know say me I no dey like too many cappings
Curiosity got me enrolling in many classes
Combing the universe and meta verse and Bible verses
-But the more I look the more I no see
-How you do the coaltar inside the red sea
-how only you is 1, 2 and trinity
made a submarine in the Belle of a fish ah ya.
-explain to me who can be in Asokoro -the same time in Rumuokoro
-I'm speaking with him right now but he is already in tomorrow
He knows the end from beginning
He's everywhere, every second, every minute
when I try to wrap my head around I'm getting migraine

my mind don dey and I don rest my case eh eh ehn eh

Nobody fit understand your way
your way your way
we dey hail you YAWEH YAWEH YAWEH
nobody fit understand your way aa your way, your way I say we dey call you YAWEH YAWEH YAWEH

Olorihe lorihe loreyin he who can swallow that thing that can swallow an elephant
only you dey reign you no get deputy
ancient of days that can never be irrelevant Chukwu you sit in heaven the earth is your foot stool
Explain to me who can be in iyana ipaja the same time in California yet you live inside of me but he's bigger than maracana
you know the end from beginning
you 're everywhere every second every minute when I try to wrap my head around I'm getting migraine my mind don dey and I don rest my case.
Nobody fit understand your way, your way , your way na only you dey your lane
YAWEH YAWAH nobody fit understand your way your way, your way
YAHEH YAWEH

I hope this cover blesses you too. Whether it’s your first time hearing the song or you already love it, may it minister to your heart again with new life.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts, share with someone who needs it, and most importantly keep lifting African gospel to the world
