The effect of soundtrack in visual entertainment // Afri-InLeo Intiative 59.

Yet another Monday Hello music lovers, welcome to the sound zone and lastly this is home for all, in that note we have a lovely topic this week which says: "music in movies" is that even possible well let's go on and see for ourselves.

In my perspective I see music in movies in two aspects the first been a kind of movie where music is been played in the background and the second is that music is part of the movie play where by there is mixture of both normal acting and music acting, let me explain. The first talks about the type of music played in the background of the movie which goes along with the movie and carries the same message as the movie itself, this type of movie setting with music tend to arise the emotions of the audience, such music can give hint on the next move the actor or actress is about to make in the scene or it can eventually also make the audience to me anxious or in suspense of what is next that would happen and because of that intriguing music used in the play you would want to watch more, you would want to see what happened between because your emotions or feeling has been engaged at the cause of watching the movie, some times even when the scene does not make sense or is not interesting implementing a small background music that suits tend to change the narrative and minds of audience from boring to exciting.

The other aspect am talking about is the part where they use music as part of their scenes and am not referring to background music here but artists performing in some scenes and those performance are also part of the movie carrying the same message as the movie itself, in some special occasion you purely see music itself acted in form of movie but this one involves dancing, singing and many other moves but the fact is it is purely music while we also have the one where music performance is part of the movie. Having mentioned where and how the function in a movie what then is the highlighted impact of music in movies where I could like to say that without music in movies those movies would have a different form which to me would be boring sincerely because how can you just be watching plain actions of characters without any sounds of any kind giving you tension or triggering your emotions.

Music importance in movies can not be overemphasize even if it's just a little touch in such movie, it is an important part, segment and qualities of a good and high consuming movie in this day and time, if music is mistakenly minus from a movie the producer, it's actor and actress would be would have to adapt a different sense of making their movies more engaging, to me the sequencing of the actions would seem boring. For we lovers of music who gets interested in a movie because of its sounds, tone and music would lose interest in watching movies because those things that engage us in a movie is no longer there.

That is why when we see movies that uses sounds or music that doesn't rhyme with the actions in a movie you tend to find it less engaging that is why we are stating that music in movies is very important in the production of movies and it should be noted that using music in movies is another way of making music global and more engaging, it can give other people knowledge on a certain culture through music.
