Unlocking Music Lessons and Explaining EGO

As I mentioned in my post yesterday about Rising Star Game, I finally reached level 10 and this is a very important level in the game because players can start taking music lessons to lower their EGO. EGO is a Stat in the game that makes your STARBITS earnings in missions decrease.

EGO is something you certainly don't want to have in the game and to solve this problem you will need to gain Skills which is also one of the Stats in Rising Star Game.

There are 2 ways to gain EGO in the game, the first is through your number of Fans, when the number of Fans is greater than the number of Skills then you will gain EGO proportionally to these values. Let's take the following values as an example: A player has 1000 Fans and 500 Skills, this means that his EGO will be 50% and he will receive -50% of the STARBITS he earns in missions. Basically, the calculation you need to do is take your number of Fans and divide it by the number of Skills. But this calculation is not exact because there is another way to earn EGO, which is through missions. Whenever you complete a mission, you will receive a certain amount of EGO after completing it. So the exact calculation would be to add the number of Fans + the number of EGO earned in missions and divide this sum by the number of Skills. Then you will find your EGO percentage. However, you do not need to do these calculations because the game itself already tells you about your EGO.

Remember that it is also possible to earn Drunk Fans. They are temporary Fans that you can earn after completing a mission and are counted in your EGO.

As you can see, my EGO is currently 43% and I earn -43% STARBITS in missions. Remember that this value is already subtracted when you start a mission. The screen will show the minimum and maximum STARBITS you will get. Since my EGO is at 43%, these values will be 43% lower.

To solve the EGO problem, all you need to do is make your number of Skills greater than the number of Fans + the number of EGO earned in missions. There are 2 ways you can deal with this.

The first way is to buy cards that have more Skills than Fans, and the second way is to take music lessons, since after completing them you will receive Skills.

The Skills in music lessons are proportional to your luck, but not all of it will be counted. Only your luck with a specific instrument will be counted for each type of music lesson. Let's see what they are.

These are the music lessons that currently exist in the Rising Star Game: Basic Singing Lesson, Guitar Lesson, Orchestral Lesson, Production Lesson, Piano Lesson, Drum Lesson, Road Crew Lesson.

To be honest, I don't know exactly what instruments are in all the music lessons. I just know that the Basic Singing Lesson is the Microphone, the Guitar Lesson is the Guitar, the Piano Lesson is the Piano, the Drum Lesson is the Drum, and the Orchestral Lesson is instruments like the Saxophone and Violin.

My focus is on Guitars and I'm currently earning 186 Skills for each Guitar Lesson I complete. This is a low amount and I intend to increase it soon by buying more guitars in the market. Unlike Fans, I prefer to buy the specific instrument in the market rather than relying on luck in the packs. In my opinion, it's better since the chances of me getting a guitar in a pack are low, but I'll still continue increasing my Fans through packs.
