Rising Star Game

Now that I've talked about Splinterlands, let's move on to the second topic of this post, which is about Rising Star Game.

What is Rising Star Game?

Rising Star Game is a music career simulator, a game on the Hive blockchain where you'll be able to go from a humble street musician to a global megastar. Rising Star Game is a free game and in it you'll be able to earn the STARBITS token by completing missions and you'll also be able to earn NFTs by completing special missions, but despite being a free game, you can also make investments to advance faster in the game and increase your earnings in it.

If you found the game interesting, then I invite you to join in. To do so, you can access it through the link: Rising Star Game

If you want to keep up with the latest news about the game, you can also follow the game's official account, @risingstargame.

To help those who are just starting out in the game or even those who are already veterans, I will be holding a weekly giveaway for 100,000 STARBITS so that the winner can increase their number of Fans by buying new cards or even buying packs. But these are just options, you are free to do whatever you want with your STARBITS and anyone can participate in the giveaway.

  • To participate in the giveaway, you just need to leave a comment on this post and I will use a tool to randomly select the winner.

  • The winner will be announced next Sunday and a new giveaway will begin.

  • The deadline to send a comment to this post is December 14, 2024. Comments sent after this date will not be counted towards the giveaway.

Splinterlands

Upon my recent return to Splinterlands I still feel like a fish out of water because there is still a lot to learn, such as new rules, new abilities and even a new reward system called Glint. The only thing I know for sure is that I miss the old Splinterlands, where I used to get focus and season chests that gave me tradable cards and SPS jackpots. Now if I want to turn one of my reward cards into a tradable card I need to pay 20x its CP value to do so, which is an extremely high price, especially for Gold Foil cards.

Despite all these changes I still find the game fun, I like developing new strategies and trying to reach new leagues that I never even dreamed of reaching before, and I also hope that new changes will come and make the game even more attractive.

In today's post I'm going to talk about a summoner that I've been using a lot in my battles. He may not be the most powerful, but he helps me with 2 things that I hate facing in a battle. The first is cards with magic attacks and the second is cards with shields.

The summoner I'm talking about is Immortalis, and whether it's because of his beautiful art or his strong name, he's certainly a card that I'll always want to have for my battles in Splinterlands.

As a summoner, he'll have the function of granting Stats and Abilities to your monsters or debuffs to the enemy team. In the case of Immortalis, he'll grant the ability Void to all your monsters, which means that they'll only receive half of the magic damage caused by your opponent's monsters. Immortalis will also grant the ability Shatter, which means that when your monsters attack your opponent's monsters, your monsters will break the opponent's monster's shield, regardless of how much shield they have.

Immortalis will also decrease the enemy monsters' health by -1.

Link to Battle

I will use this battle as an example where my opponent used the 2 worst things I hate to face, several monsters with magic attack and that have shields, in addition to my misfortune he also used a summoner that increases the magic attack of his monsters, but unfortunately for him I had Immortalis on my side.

The rules in the battle are: Fire & Regret, Maneuvers and Four's a Crowd.

In the Fire & Regret rule all monsters will receive the Return Fire ability and with this ability monsters with ranged attack will suffer 50% of the damage they cause with ranged attack.

In the Maneuvers rule, all monsters receive the Reach ability and with this ability, melee monsters can attack in second position.

In the Four's a Crowd rule, only 4 monsters can be used in battle.

In the battle, I tried to make the most of the rules so I didn't use any monsters with ranged attacks and selected a powerful melee monster in second position. My opponent did the same but my strategy was superior and in just 3 rounds he achieved inevitable defeat.

There are still many strategies that I need to discover in Splinterlands and I can't wait to perfect my skills and reach even higher leagues in the game.
