Water And Wetlands In The Dhaka City
Dhaka is city of wetlands in the rainy season, especially the nearby area surrounding the core Municipal area as the whole area is comparatively lower than the other diatrict like Gazipur, Munshiganj and Tangail which are located in the north-eastern of the Dhaka City. And usually the southern region are lower than the other parts.
As I mention yesterday that the rainybseason is full rainy days and rainy nights and the surrounding area are gome under water, even many streets of the Dhaka City is flooded during the heavy rain. And often the excessive water needa more than a day to be cleared due to underdeveloped sewerage system of the Municipal.
Today, I have visited my brother's office from the core City area that located outside of the predefined area of the Dahaka North City Corporation region. So. i had to chose some intercity transport to go there tgrough this amazing water body at the both side of the road. It seems to be a vast lake but truly, it is our low lands that goes under water in the rainy season. In the other season this land area is so fertile for growing paddy with excellent production yirld. But unfortunately this area is now being urbanisation due to the heavy pressure from the increasing demand of residential and economical infrastructures.
In the rainy season the natural beauty of area is so attractive as the whole area is full ifvwater.and green canopies at different points. Furthermore, the fresh environment that is cleaned by the frequent heavy rain make the scenarios more eye-catching and soothing. The area becomes a natural hub of strengthening the mother earth.
The only issue is like that you cab not go there in flexible ways as tge roads are under constitution and many places ofbthe roada are full of large broken holes that can.be difficult to maintain.the safety. And wetbroads are not good for outdoor activities.

Yeah, our land is so fertile and so rich than most the lands in the world. No, my brother works in a private Textile Cimpany and he lives outsude of the core city area but may wife's University is in core area. So, I was travelling outside to meet my elder brother.
