The Beauty Of The Qihe River, The Unfrozen One

There are many rivers in the area where I live, and many of them are small, but there are also some very long rivers that flow through the whole of Beijing and Tianjin and empty into the Pacific Ocean in eastern China. I love exploring and winter is not a good time to explore as the freezing cold is not a good time for outdoor activity, and it is more difficult for a native to the tropical region. But last weekend, I had some outdoor activity, mainly walking around the close area of my dormitory, and I found an amazing spot to pass some time walking in one of the most beautiful winter streets in the Huairou district. A complete natural surrounding without the heavy industrial or residential hub.

The location is around 15 minutes walking distance, and it is a small river known as the Qihe River's branch with the same name that originates from the Yanqi lake, where I often go for an afternoon walk. This tiny branch goes straight towards the north to the other northern rivers and lakes, and connects with the main branch of the Qihe river near my living area and becomes more spacious. The Qihe river connects with the Huaihe river, which originates from the Huairou Reservoir, which is larger than the Yanqi lake.

Both of them then connect with the final river, the Chaobai River, which originates from the largest lake in Beijing, the Miyun Reservoir. The Chaobai River is also the longest river in this region, which crosses Tianjin and flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is a miracle that all of these river has water in this winter and many of them are now frozen but the part where I was walking that part of the Qihe river is not frozen because the flow of water in some locations was visible and some parts are frozen, which I can not ensured but the edge of the water seemed to be frozen.

The natural surrounding also very clean as the weather was very good with extremely clean air and the bright sun with the deep blue sky without clouds made the surrounding beautiful. I forgot the freezing cold and enjoy taking some photos in the street by the river that is so enjoyable to have the opportunity to enjoy such scenic views. I have enjoyed the walking session there with this view for a while and it was a great winter walking session there.

I hope you enjoy my photos of the Qihe riverside area in my living area and these natural scenes are beautiful with the bright sunny surroundings in the wintertime. The view is beautiful from every angle, with the clean sky and the faded color of the trees and grass with naked branches in such a clear weather with the deep blue sky made the views so beautiful. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wishing you a good day!

I took all the photos, and these are my own property.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I remembered there weren't many lakes in Beijing!
But then I realized for the first time that the Miyun Reservoir is the largest artificial lake in Beijing!

I've always admired your talent for discovering the beauty of nature!
Since prehistoric times, the Chinese have been creating artificial lakes and rivers to obtain a stable supply of clean water!
I assumed you were impressed by the Chinese people's excellent water management skills! I wonder if Bangladesh also has artificial lakes and rivers to obtain clean water!

Yeah, it is really amazing, they have made it as an art! I admire it.
Actually, Bangladesh doesn’t need that as we have plenty of natural rivers everywhere which needs regular dredging to make them flow normally.
