A Cloudy day in the Zoo

Earlier this week we went for a morning walk in the local zoo here in Amersfoort .

I did post some of the photos i made before in Black and white , and today it's time to show some more but in color , they are not the same photos .

) The first thing we came across was the snow owls, they had 3 chicks earlier this year, and they all looked full grown.

) the next one was the cranebird in the Japanese gardens

) This one and the reat of his group we could already hear in the Japanese garden they were very loud calling , i did try to record it but i was to late. I didn't know that Lemurs could make that noise.

)

) next up the baboons always fun to watch the young ones getting in trouble

) This baboon was eating the duckweed on the water

) Eurasian griffon vulture impressive bird to see so close , to bad they didn't spread their wings today.

)

) Pelican

)

) The Yellow-billed stork with a nice reflection on the water

)More Lemur .. at least they were sillent :)

) i think there are 6 of them but i'm not sure ...

)

)

) These two were bussy washing each other so it seems .

)

)and finally the tige that didn't look at the camera , but i got a nice reflection in the water .

that is all for today
