I was able to do some more macro photography this weekend and here were the shots I was able to get.
This one is nothing too special, but I wanted to play around with some colored lights. It was shot at 1:1 and focus stacked.
Here is a single oil bubble captured at a 3.5:1 magnification. I simply lit 2 colored pieces of paper underneath the to create the gradient of color. the black outline of the bubble is the refraction of the Petrie dish in the bubble itself.
Here was a dryer sheet that was shot at 5:1. Again I used colored lights and focus stacking to achieve this image.
Last, is the edge of a razor blade also shot at 5:1. Color lights and focus stacking were used as well in this photo.
I hope you enjoyed my journey into the macro world. I really enjoy the creative freedom it alows me.
That razorblade is super cool-looking! Great shots man!
