Memories of a sunday [EN/PT]

I found these three photos in my phone's gallery, and as soon as I saw them, I remembered the day they were taken. It wasn't long ago, maybe two years. On that day, my son, my girlfriend, and I visited a park here in my city. Even though this park is famous around here, I had never been there in all the years I've lived in the city, and I was impressed by its beauty, of course, but some things I didn't expect to see in this place were the subjects of today's photos.

First, it was a bird, and of course, I couldn't say in any way that I didn't expect to see a bird in a park so full of nature, but what impressed me at the time, as I well remember, was the fact that this bird sought shade to rest. Indeed, it was a very hot day.

Then, something that caught my attention was a building with very modern architecture at the park entrance, and simply a papaya tree adjusting the landscape to something unusual, to say the least. A ripe papaya right there, and I felt like eating papaya that day.

Finally, a photo taken by my son while I was looking at a building, or rather, something that had been an old building and is now just a ruin. This trip itself was really cool, and seeing these photos reminded me that I need to go back there.

Achei essas 3 fotos na galeria do meu celular e, no momento em que as vi, me lembrei do dia em que foram tiradas. Não faz muito tempo, talvez uns dois anos. Nesse dia, tínhamos visitado um parque aqui da minha cidade, eu, meu filho e minha namorada. Por mais que esse parque seja famoso por aqui, eu nunca tinha ido lá em todos esses anos que moro na cidade e fiquei impressionado com a beleza, mas algumas coisas que eu não esperava ver nesse lugar foram os alvos dessas fotos de hoje.

Primeiro, foi um pássaro e claro, eu não poderia dizer de forma alguma que não esperava ver um pássaro em um parque tão cheio de natureza, mas o que me impressionou na ocasião, como bem me lembro, foi o fato desse pássaro ter procurado uma sombra para descansar. Realmente, o dia estava bem quente e consegui tirar a foto antes que ele se assustasse fosse procurar outro lugar para descansar.

Depois, algo que chamou a atenção foi um prédio com uma arquitetura bem moderna, na entrada do parque, e simplesmente um pé de mamão ajustando a paisagem para algo no mínimo incomum, talvez o contraste mais diferente desse dia.

Por último, uma foto tirada por meu filho enquanto eu estava olhando uma construção, ou melhor, algo que tinha sido uma construção antiga e agora é apenas ruína. Esse passeio em si foi muito legal e ter visto essas fotos me fez lembrar que preciso voltar lá.
