The Bridge of my Childhood

(edited)

I wish all of you, dear friends and Photography Lovers, a good start to the week with this wonderful and sunny Monday.šŸ™ŒšŸ“ø

To end this series of my posts with photos of my city through a night walk, a few more photos of the most photographed object in the city, the Old Bridge

So, let's go see him together

This bridge is not just a crossing from one bank to the other. It is a link between yesterday and today, between the child I was and the woman who still pauses, breathes, and feels peace.

And last night, on this beautiful and quiet night, while the city sleeps, the Old Bridge whispers: "You're still here. I am too."

And here, very briefly and in words, not too rich in photos, I have finished this series of posts. All photos were taken with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f1.8. The first part was very minimally processed in Photoshop, and the second part was processed in Photoshop Action 1,2 and 3 filters

This is all for Today dear Friends, see you Tomorrow

Such a beautiful tribute to a place filled with memories. The way you describe the Old Bridge as a symbol of peace and reflection is truly touching. Your photos and words capture not just the beauty of the city, but the emotional connection you have with it. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt moment!

Thank you so much on this beautiful comment. I really love this Bridge. When we were hit by a terrible earthquake in 2020 and when I read somewhere that after half an hour it was gone, my heart sank and went numb. But thank God it wasn't to that extent. It was destroyed in a few places, but last year, for its 90th birthday, it was restored and put back into service
