Spectacular in the sky – Meteor shower on June 7, 2025

Good morning, good Saturday dear Friends and Photography Lovers 🙌📸

Today I decided to post the best photos from my mission this morning (which failed, by the way). Last night I read about the predicted meteor shower on the night of June 6th to 7th. The article said that the best time to see them was just before dawn, which I did. I woke up at 3 am, made coffee, took my Nikon D750 and a tripod, and walked down the street where I live. I know from reading and studying photography that the best and only way to successfully photograph the starry sky is in as dark an environment as possible, i.e. with as little light pollution as possible. However, I didn't have the courage to drive to such a place at night. So, I tried this way and I can say that my mission failed.

So, let's go see my failed Mission 😂😂

The sky was supposed to turn into a stage of sparkling trails that would, one after another, tear through the darkness of the night. ✨ And in my photos, all you see is what you see 😂😳😂

You've probably read about it, but this phenomenon is caused by the Earth passing through the remains of comets, and meteors, which we often call "shooting stars", are actually tiny particles that burn up in the atmosphere, leaving behind light trails. Well, there were few shooting stars above my head, unfortunately. Now I'm super sleepy, my eyes are full of dark circles, and I'm in a bad mood.😳😂😊☺️
