πŸ“Έ Hands in Photography: A Story Without Words βœ‹πŸ–€

Good morning dear Friends and Photography Lovers, Lovely Saturday to all of you πŸ™ŒπŸ“Έ

Yesterday, during a drive, nothing special, just a regular Friday trip into town, I took my Nikon D750 with me. And at one point, the idea came to my mind that I could finally do a long-planned and never-realized photo session with my hand on the wheel.

So, I did it!!!!!! Let's go see together!

Hands are silent storytellers and truly carry their own story in photography.
While the eyes may seek out the face, it is the hands that often carry emotion – tenderness, strength, restlessness, or connection.

This was, as you can see, my left hand, my right hand was the trigger.

That's why you should never forget about your hands in a frame.
Don't hide them, but place them carefully. Let them "speak" naturally, because sometimes a touch, a squeeze, or a relaxed hand can convey more than just a look.

Personally, I find shots with just hands, close-ups, very interesting. I have a post here with such photos (or even two, I can't remember anymore), they were all someone's hands. Today they are my hands.

You see, in these three photos you can see that I wear a watch on my right hand and it's been that way since I first put it on my hand, a long time ago, when I started first grade of elementary school. I don't know why, but I put it on my right hand then..... And so ever since, I've been wearing it on my right hand

And yes, of course it was much harder to find the position of the camera and shoot with my left hand, because I'm right-handed.

πŸ–οΈ Have you ever noticed how much your hands say in your photos? Now, I really wish someone would at least write something about me looking at these photos. Of course, something other than me being a driver πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰.

  • I took the photos as I wrote at the beginning of the post, with my beast, Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode. I processed them in Photoshop this morning, I put them all in Black&White 1-Photoshop Action*

And, this is all for Today dear Friends and Photography Lovers, see you Tomorrow

Of course you're a driver, and I think you know how to keep a balanced grip on the wheel ;) But beyond that, you have a very unique sensitivity; it shows in the way you photographed your hands. I feel like you're trying to say that you have control over your life, and the will to overcome any difficulty, like doing the session with your left hand even though you're right-handed. πŸ˜…

Wowwww, finally someone answered my prayer and tried to describe me as a person. Of course they got it right, for which I am grateful to heaven. Yessss, this is me!!! ❀️

Hands really do tell stories that words sometimes can’t. Love how you captured that subtle power.
