Good day to all, dear friends and Photography LoversππΈ
Starting today, I'll be posting a series of photos that I took seven days ago and now they're ready to be edited and published. Namely, it was raining that day, I saw in the forecast that it would stop by the evening and I decided to go for a drive and later a walk through my city. I was blown away by the city after the rain, I really was. And at night.
So, let's go see together
Everything looks different β the reflections of lights in puddles, the silence of the streets, the droplets on the glass.
The city seems to hold its breath.
These scenes require no noise, no rush. Just open eyes and a ready lens. And of course, a steady left hand on the wheel, a steady right hand on the shutter, and careful driving.
The car glides silently through the empty streets. Everything is in slow motion. The city breathes differently when it is wet and quiet.
I stop sometimes, take out my camera. There is no crowd, no rush. Just me, the lens and the whispering city.
After the rain, everything seems more real. Even familiar buildings seem like I'm seeing them for the first time.
I love that feeling β like I'm just a passerby in my own city, but for a reason.
That's all for today, the rest will follow tomorrow, but here I am already outside the car, taking photos while walking. All photos were taken with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, manual settings, f/1.8. Processing was done in Photoshop minimally, as much as necessary
See You Tomorrow!
