Walk in the dunes

Walk in the dunes

Last weekend my wife and I made a walk in the dunes. It was a cold, but sunny day, so ideal for a nice long walk.
I was able to take some nice photographs which I will share in this post.

I would love to receive some feedback on my photos! #AAP

We went to the dunes early at 9 AM. The sun just tried to break through the clouds.

I tries to create a bit more depth in this photo by adding the branch in the photo.

We it was a 5 kilomters walk until we reached the last dune that lead to the sea.

Since this spot isn't easily accessible by car you don't see a lot of people. There were a few in the dunes and on the beach, but I've kept them out of my shots 😀
image.png

After visiting the beach shortly we had to make this quite tough climb in the loose sand to head back to our car.
image.png

The scenery in the dunes is quite diverse. There is a lot of sand, but also small groups of trees and even swamp-like areas like you see in the photo below.
image.png

The shot below has something of Africa I think. It was a funny sight this lonely tree on a small island.
image.png

And here is a totally different scenery with a lot of grass and trees in the back. It's nice and rough.
image.png

On the way back I almost stepped onto this tiny newt. I picked it up from the path and placed in in the grass.

I hope you liked my photographs!

I loved the pictures, especially the first two. Well, they all looked great, but these clouds have something that I don't know if it's just me or if you can see it too, or maybe I'm a little crazy 😜. The clouds, in the first photo, make a silhouette of the face of a wolf or dog, maybe, and in the second one, I can see two arms with their hands outstretched, as if waiting to receive or give something. And it's amazing that a single place has different and so beautiful landscapes, you did an excellent job. Greetings to you and your wife.

Thabks for visiting my blog. I didn't take a look at the clouds that way. I was more impressed by the colors!

Nice shots, here lizard, lizard, lizard, haha. Love taking shots of them little guys.

Thanks! I thought it was a lizard, but my app said it's a newt which is more a salamander.
I didn't have my normal camera with me (I was walking with my wife, so if I stop for every insect, reptile or plant she will get annoyed 😀).
I do have to go there sometime on my own and bring my macro gear with me.

Yeah I got to get to more macro stuff too, a lot to learn there still too but its fun. My phone does okay Macro too but not like a camera does. I suppose it could be a newt too, hard to tell but still cool.

Oh walks in places like this are healing. A long time ago I lived in a similar place and I felt like I was in paradise, it was also perfect for taking photos. Beautiful landscapes and great shots @friendlymoose friend! Keep up the awesome work 💪🏻📸

Thanks! It's a privilege to have these places close to where I live.

It works so well to create more depth… putting something in the foreground. Like a branch. Lonely tree.

The tree on the island shot is stunning. Great capture.

Yes, but you don't always have nice subjects to put in the front 😃

Thanks!

Looks like such a great walk and I love all the photos
Not sure why but I always love a tree on a small island 😎
I often go out early morning before sunrise and it’s starting to get quite cool at that time

It surely was a nice walk. We were there just after sunrise, but it's nice to see the sun come up indeed.

Why couldn’t the bike keep up with the car?
Because it was 2-tired

I remember how I hated that deep sand when I visited a beach in The Netherlands for the first time 😂 It's so tough to walk there..

I like how diverse this area is. Great photos, especially the one with the sea - for me this is how a typical Dutch beach look like.

Have a lovely day!
