Staying in a space that is cluttered is like making up my mind that whatever happens, I will go with it. This only happens when that laziness steps in uninvited. Every now and then, this unwanted visitor comes in and make me do it’s dirty biddings. At the point when I feel so tired and lazy, I most times don’t mind how clutter my space is and I can go as far as leaving everything unkept but then, the moment I gain a little consciousness, I don’t go easy on those clutters.
I literally enjoy seeing my space undergo transformation. You know, that moment when you are in a space and decide to just step out a little only for you to return and vola! The room is looking all different and comfy. That transformation is something I enjoy doing and that is why you will hardly ever find my space cluttered except of course, I have that visitor around. I do know how unproductive I get when my space is cluttered and that is one major reason I grew fond of declutterring my space, that is, anywhere I find myself staying.
Majorly, the one way I get to keep clutters under control is by giving out old stuffs I don’t have need of. Sometimes I give out these stuffs either before getting a new one or after and that is depending on when I find someone perfect to give them to. Beside keeping my clutters in check, giving what I don’t have much need of to someone who truly needs it brings smiles to my face and of course, it gives me this great satisfaction.
Also, another way I try to keep my space clutter-free is by regularly clearing out things that shouldn’t be in some places. I do this because I don’t know when my laziness will hold me back. So this is more like a preventive measure to help me keep clutters in control. I know that, the more I clean and organize my space, it makes it easier to maintain when I feel lazy or tired to do so on some days. Lately, I find myself always unconsciously trying to put things in the right place and this is because I know that is how clutter starts.
I also try to prioritize my mental health. Knowing the danger I put myself when I stay in a cluttered space, that gives me a very good reason to always declutter. Most times, the nature of my space determines how effective and efficient I will be. Knowing this, it helps me keep clutters in control because I always want to see to it that things are always how they should be. When something is no longer needed, I make sure I give it to someone who needs it or discard it.
Keeping clutter in control, most times happen as a result of what I see but then, most times all of these things I have mentioned, helps me to avoid cluttered spaces and also makes it easier for me to declutter when needed. Also, the aspect of always clearing up spaces regularly also helps me a lot and I believe it will help anyone as well. Don’t always wait for weekends to keep your space in good condition, clean as much as possible and maybe weekends should be a day for clearing up those spaces that you don’t see every day.
Thank you for reading through. ❤️
Thank you. 🤗
Giving away things you no longer need is a really good way not only to keep your own space free and clean, but to also do a good deed (which in turn boosts your morale). So it's a win-win really isn't it? :)
Yes, it is a win win in every way.
Thanks for your input. ❤️

It’s my pleasure participating. 🥰
Giving away what you don't use is a good way to keep order and avoid accumulations. And although not everyone agrees, I also think that clutter affects emotionally, so the order also does, but positively. Although it is difficult, I think like you in that it is always good to sacrifice a little to maintain order, if we are going to feel better.
I totally agree with you too. Declutterring will definitely help us emotionally too.
It’s a pleasure having you leave your thoughts on what I have said. Thank you. 🥰
