I just googled. I never knew those things were called scotch bonnets. We call them Tomato peppers and Habenero chilli's we call Atarugu. Finger Chilli's we call Shombo.

I really don’t know what peppers are processed to look like these but these are what Cameroon peppers are here. It’s also called Ghana pepper.

I hear that it's not as strong, but it sure looks like it's from the same variety.
I understand them processing the pepper to preserve them, I guess. I've seen my mum keep her fresh peppers in the freezer, which lasts her for a long time as she uses it sparingly:)
