In life, we all have to be mindful of what we do. How we walk, eat, talk and all. At least, that's how I see myself cultivating the act of mindfulness. Being a minimalist always comes with its beauty, and on my journey out of the city to a more unpopulated place has made me embrace more of nature.
It was interesting to see that what woke me up today wasn't the sound of car horns or unnecessary noise but the sound of nature. The sound of birds chirping, chickens moving about, and the swaying of trees right next to me. Ever since I made my way to nature's beauty of peace and quietness, I have found my breath filled with undiluted air.
Everything is natural. Every breath makes me come to the realisation of how wealthy those who live deep in nature are. The air they breathe is natural… from the swaying of trees around them to the great feast of their eyes on nature's beauty. This is a great reminder that we don't have to live in a populated place or have the biggest house to enjoy life.
The little space I found myself in is so wonderful, and knowing I will be spending more time here is what makes it all interesting.
How's that related to the mindfulness act?
Mindfulness to me is all about nature. Embracing its presence, breathing its air, taking care of its surroundings, and living in it. And that's exactly what I have been doing since dawn. Mindful living, and it has been very lovely, though. I must admit it has also been tiring.
I have been used to water connected to pipes that lead straight to where I am, but living here has been different. I needed to fetch my own water and even went to the stream although I must admit that having to carry the water back to the place I rested was a crucial task because it was a long journey though I enjoyed the scenery around me. I even took an image of the sunset, and as you can see, it is breathtaking.
Although, I kept on resting midway and was able to control my breath when each movement was suffocating. At first, I was taking in a lot of air at once, and it almost made me wheeze out. But with each step, I was able to get my breath worked out. Interesting, right? I have also gathered woods to create fire and eat freshly made meals.
I understand where I am, and every minute I spend here seems to unravel different secrets to the act of living in nature. A big revelation to mindful living in nature's abode while continuing my minimalist practice of making good use of every little thing in my surroundings.
Being here has made my meditation practices prove successful and made my mind clearer. I get to see things in a different light, my thoughts well aligned, and for now, I am grateful for this moment of plain simplicity.

Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
It's such a great feeling when you break away for a short while from your busy environs and experience something like this. That's when the sounds of nature seem amplified.
Thanks for sharing this with us:)
Yes it is. The air around just feels so right. The only thing is network 😂. I have to climb mountains to get a signal.
Sometimes we don't appreciate even that simplest thing. To me though, the present moment is what matters. I used to get so worked up living in a busy and bustling city but once I learn to appreciate it for whatever that is, my life was more pleasant. So, be it nature, or a crowded urbanized town, I can always find happiness there.
That's wonderful. Finding something unique wherever we find ourselves is always the best. Staying in the city too always has its advantage.

I agree, the commercial world is designed to take us by the hand and fill us with unnecessary things, and if we don't stop to think about it for a moment, we can easily be fooled and live full of things but empty.
I feel that with the passage of time we have been conditioned, until reaching our generation which sadly is forced to seek immediate pleasures wherever, including having possessions and the one who is aware of all this sometimes suffers a little more, but it is also the one who from that suffering learns to deal with all this.
Dedicate yourself to grow as a person, be aware of the spiritual need and despite like everyone else, to have a balanced life in which you can do everything you can to help yourself.
There are a lot of notable points I took from your response.
Sometimes, we forget what truly matters and live empty pleasurable lives until we settle and see how we've lived.
Exactly, when we deal with something, it becomes an experience. A lesson learnt.
Thank you. I will. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice day.
