Coins can be fun to collect, I've collected since I was a kid. Now mostly silver or gold because they tend to appreciate in value faster than most other collectible items. It's sweet to hear a 96 year old collecting for the forty year old grandson though.
Nirvana two times in one weekend! That must have been a lot of fun. I never saw saw them live, at that point I was living in South America and I'm not sure if they ever performed close to where I living in Chile at the time!

Oh yes it made a difference living an hour from Melbourne in the late 80s and 90s. Lots of great music. And being young with disposable income and the music being affordable... We saw heaps. I looked at a ticket for Ben Harper and John Butler yesterday and it was $480. No way can I justify that.
