Newer Artist Daisy Gray for Three Tune Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone, I'm glad you survived your Monday. This is one of those odd days where I just don't feel like I have a lot of energy, but oh well. Such is life... Being as it is Tuesday, it's time for another Three Tune Tuesday. I have started many of these posts over time and most are still waiting for me to publish them. But today I'm in a bit of a mellow mood, so I chose out some songs from a newer artist I heard a few weeks back. I so hope you enjoy.

Today featured artist is from California and first caught attention on YouTube for her song covers. Daisy Gray is only 21 years old but has an incredible voice and is a rising pop star. The one cover that really made her go viral was a cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game".

Wicked Game

This song was written by Chris Isaak and released in 1989. It was on the Billboard charts in the top ten around the world peaking in March 1991. It has been covered by multiple artists over the years, but this is one of the best I've ever heard.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

This chart topping hit was written by the band Nirvana and released in 1991. It single handedly changed music in the 1990's bringing grunge to the forefront. Here Daisy does an amazing cover with her emotional voice with only the piano. Another great cover on her part.

About You

This is one of her original songs with a bit more a current pop sound. I kind of prefer her just playing the piano, but it's pretty good. But to compete in the world of pop music you have to keep up with the Jones's, if you will. This one is called: "About You"
