Three 7s from across the punk pond
Hello Hello to all the music lovers of Hive
It is Tuesday once more, which means of course that it is #ttt or #threetunetuesday and therefore it's time to share some tunes!
Last week I picked Amsterdam as a theme, due to HiveFest 7 coming from there. I think that worked out quite well!
I do like the number 7, it is in my birthdate,so that is another reason I like it.
Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

And look what is staring at me from laptop as I write this post....
The date is September 27th and the time although in 24 hour format 17:18
Well there we go, a theme is born!
7 seven let's see what I can think up!

When I think of seven and geography I think of the seven sisters, which are chalk cliff on the souther English coast and provide an awesome backdrop for this post!

Nifty said he was listening to pop-punk so let's narrow that list of ten down to 3, so we will lose an unlucky 7...
These 3 bands that I am going to show you all have 7 in their title and are actually all from the US of A and are all punkyish...
So first up is a band that was formed in 1997 (see another 7!) in San Diego in California.
Lucky 7 ~ Miss Fortune
Miss Fortune was the name of their tune. They had more success touring and support some decent bands.
In 2002 they managed to get a record deal but a year later they disbanded. I thought of Super Eli @coquicoin for this one, as it has been a while that Lucky Eddie has made an appearance!
7 Seconds - We're Gonna Fight
7 seconds have been around for years and years and I am pretty sure have at some point played all the genres of punk.
This tune is 7 seconds back when they are at their best I think and reminded me of fierce @deraaa
7 Year Bitch - In Lust You Trust
To round off my punk 7 bands from America I choose an all girl lineup.
Their name reminded me of @nickydee although we talk about the birch!
These Seatle punk rockers are awesome and play across punk rock / riot grrrl and grunge. They had sadness and death amongst their band members and fellow friends. Like their name they only lasted for seven years.

Oh yeah, I used to listen to 7 Seconds! Had a stage there when I was a massive punk and thrash fan and a lot of awesome stuff came out of America. Appealed to my high energy youth when I just wanted to jump around in the mosh pit with the boys. And that all girl punk sound was freakign awesome, used to love L7 and Bikini Kill etc.
There were heaps that came out of America at that time, and there were a shit load of raw awesome all girl punk bands around over there. Perfect for equality in the mosh pits:)
Yes! And I never had a bad experience though I know some woman did. We just had an awful lot of fun.

Nice one man, really enjoyed this trio and all completely new to me too and worked very well into your 7 theme too. A long time since I was in a mosh pit, they used to be some laugh though and I can easily imagine moshing away to some of the those tunes.
