"The 100 Rock Songs You Have to Hear Before You Die"

Hey guys, I couldn't sleep and I sat down in front of the computer and thought about writing a post about the 100 best rock music songs in history.

It was hard for me to choose them because there are so many good ones, but I think you'll like this list.

So without preamble I start

In position number 100 is: "My Generation" - The Who

*One of the things about this song is that I thought the singer was a stutterer and after doing some research I found that it was intentional in the phrase *

"Why don't you all f-f-f-fade away."

Well, I've cleared up my doubts now, it's intentional and the singer did that to reflect frustration, but there are other people who say from what I've read that he did it to laugh at the upper class youth. For one reason or another, this is a great song.

In position number 99 is: "Between two lands" - Heroes of Silence

Heroes del Silencio is a very well-known band in Spain in the 80s and 90s. The singer Enrique Bunbury, if you notice, makes the move and had the same haircut as the singer of the group The Doors.

This group, like everything else, when it becomes very famous, breaks up because the singer wanted to be solo, but he never had the fame and recognition when he was with the group. A few days ago I read that the band was going to get back together and that is very good news. I hope and wish that they have the same style as before.

In position number 98 is: "Another Brick In The Wall " -Pink Floyd

This is a song that denounces the Berlin Wall. When I first heard it when I was very young and my father put it on the record player, I was very struck by all the sounds that were introduced in the song, but the coolest thing was that the record came in a huge fold-out. I still have it and I have read that there are very few and at auction people fight to have them.

I will never sell it since it was one of the best preserved records by my father.

In position number 97 is: "Whatever You Want" -Status Quo

The guitar riff is a marvel, this song entered the European charts and in England it reached number 4. Status Quo has a very peculiar style, their boogie rock made them a unique group in the world.

This song has become one of the most beloved in the world over the years and also perfectly captures the spirit of carefree rock and roll.

In position number 96 is: "The Kids Aren't Alright" - The Offspring

The Offspring has a punk rock style that quickly connects with the people who listen to them. In this song they wanted to highlight poverty, drugs, and youth violence at that time, "a problem in all generations."

The band's fast-paced punk style makes it directly impact the listener and makes your body speed up by inertia.

In position number 95 is: "Old Time Rock n Roll" -Bob Seger

The first time I heard this song was watching the movie (Risky Business) in which the main actor is (Tom Cruise) who plays a great role. Well, after listening to it I knew I wanted this song in my music library.

It was released in 1978 on their album Stranger in Town and with the passage of time it has become a classic rock and roll anthem.

In position number 94 is: "I Love Rock 'N Roll" -Joan Jett & the Blackhearts

"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" is by the British glam rock trio The Arrows, not a Jets composition. Fronted by Alan Merrill, they were well known in the UK and had some success and a TV show there, but were completely unknown in the States. This is one of the cases where this version outdid the original and was even more successful than The Runaways.

In position number 93 is: "Let There Be Rock" -AC/DC

This is "rock genesis" hahahahahahaha Bon Scott wanted to make people compare him to a divine act and he is against the creation of the genre (in other words, he wanted to laugh at the church)

The song narrates the emergence of rock and roll as an almost divine musical movement. The lyrics mention the first records and how the genre conquered the world, with an epic and reverent tone. With verses like "In the beginning, back in 1955...

In position number 92 is: "Mr. Blue Sky" -Electric Light Orchestra

This song is a fucking masterpiece that mixes symphonic rock with orchestral pop. To tell you the truth, I didn't know this song existed, I heard it for the first time in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Jeff Lynne said about it that:

"Mr. Blue Sky" is one of the songs he is most proud of, due to its complex composition and its contagious energy.

In position number 91 is: "Spirit In The Sky" -Norman Greenbaum

Did you know that VH1 created a list of songs and that the voters of this list were the best rock groups and that this song was selected among the 100 best songs on the channels in the history of rock & roll? Well, now you know it hehehehe

In position number 90 is: "Clocks" - Coldplay

Well, gentlemen, today I'll stay here, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I'll continue with the list, I hope you like what I've posted so far.

Well, gentlemen, that's all for today.
