Chemical Brothers: Electronic Revolution

Good afternoon, today I want to talk to you about the group The Chemical Brothers, who are not like Prodigy but they are not far behind either. To start with their story we have to go back a few years to the 70s in London, England. Ed Simons was a boy with a great interest in music, but mainly the genre that he liked to pursue his career as a producer was hip hop and from then on he also had other great interests that would influence him.

At the University of Manchester is where he would meet his partner where they would immerse themselves in the music scene as "The Dust Brothers." But that name was already registered and that same band warned him that if they did not change it they would report them to the authorities, that is when he changed the name from "The Dust Brothers" to "The Chemical Brothers."
