Hardcore afternoon!

One Saturday, I was invited by a friend to do some drone shots for his band's music video. The work is still in progress and I'm looking forward to seeing the end result, as it was the first time I'd done anything like this.

The band is called Saginata, and their sound is a mix of post-punk and hardcore, authentic and vibrant. The funny thing is that I met the lead singer a few years ago at one of his gigs in the city I live in now. As time went by, we got closer, and one day, talking about school matters, we discovered that many years ago we went to the same school in another city. After a while, we ended up recognizing each other from that time!

Anyway, I've always liked this style of music and I've been following the band for a while. I ended up becoming a fan. I also really like the venue where they usually play. It's one of my favorites in the city, a very different bar, with various atmospheres and activities, and always with open doors for bands to play their own songs.

Em um sábado qualquer, fui convidado por um amigo para fazer algumas takes com o drone para o clipe da banda dele. O trabalho ainda está em andamento, e estou ansioso para ver o resultado final, já que foi a primeira vez que fiz algo desse tipo.

Enfim, sempre gostei desse estilo de som e acompanho a banda há algum tempo. Acabei virando fã. Também gosto muito do local onde eles costumam tocar. É um dos meus favoritos na cidade, um bar bem diferente, com vários ambientes e atividades, e sempre com as portas abertas para bandas tocarem suas músicas autorais.
