Over two weeks ago, I shared how I had recently been immersed in the music of Enya. I honestly thought it might pass, like most musical phases do. But it doesn't seem like the case with her songs. I still play her songs almost every day, sometimes intentionally, other times just a background sound to my flowing thoughts.

Either way, the excitement I do have for new sounds hasn’t died down with songs from Enya, and for this week’s #ttt, I’m sharing three more Enya songs that I’ve grown to enjoy deeply, not just for how they sound, but for how they meet me where I am in life.
These three songs speaks to me about believing in myself, becoming who I should be and moving forward no matter how hard it could get on the way. I want to believe these songs will also speak to you too, just make sure to listen to the lyrics.
The first song is “So I Could Find My Way”, released in 2001 as part of the "A Day Without Rain" album. This song feels like gratitude wrapped in reflection. It acknowledges help, guidance, and the quiet support we sometimes forget to mention when we talk about “finding ourselves”. My life right now connects so much with this song because I've come to understand that figuring out what you really want to do (your purpose or your direction) is not easy. But listening to this song reminds me that I didn’t get this far alone. There were words spoken, hands held, prayers made, and encouragement given. Through all of these, I’m finding my way and this realization is exciting.
Next is “On My Way Home”, released in 2005 from the "Amarantine album". This song carries joy, relief, and peace, but not in a loud or celebratory way. It feels more like the calm smile you make when you know you’re heading to somewhere good, even if you are not there yet. I may not be where I want to be right now, but this song reminds me that having a direction matters. Sometimes, simply knowing where you’re going is an achievement on it's own, I'd love to think that for my peace and joy. The song feels like reassurance that progress is happening, even when it feels slow.
The third song is “May It Be”, released in 2001, famously featured in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". I think I loved the sound first as I remembered hearing it in a series trailer years ago but the chorus pulled me in after. This song feels like a gentle call to action. Not like you're being rushed, just firm in belief, you believing in yourself. It reminds me that there is a fight to win, and that rest comes after perseverance. The chorus is my favorite part and says it all:
Mornie utulie (Darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie (Darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now
Those words sit with me deeply.
I may not share more songs from Enya after this, but one thing is certain, I am so loving listening to her music, and I plan to continue. I hope you do check out some of her songs too, they are more than just sounds, they are what keeps life moving slow even when the world is at rush.
So tell me, which of these songs resonates with you the most?
