RE: Rock N' Roll From the Late 1960's for this Three Tune Tuesday.

Great songs, all!

I love how Clapton overdubs some lead guitar, adding more as each verse appears. Excellent use of the new wah wah petal. Then the lyrics are over and its just Eric jamming like a mad man. One of the greatest 60s guitar solos, for sure!

White Room is my fave Cream tune, with Sunshine of Your Love right up there, along with Tales of Brave Ulysses.

Hendrix is right up there in guitar skills, maybe at the top spot. I like Manic Depression and Hey Joe by him.

Steppenwolf, another unforgettable 60s band. Born to Be Wild gave us the "Heavy Metal" thunder lyric which came to define late 60s and 70s and beyond Hard Rock. Magic Carpet Ride is a fave of mine. Cool and quirky tune with the strange psychedelic ride in the middle of it.

Thanks for the memories and have a nice day!
