An angel for a Three Tune Tuesday ✨ (eng-esp)

Greetings to all music lovers. Today is Tuesday, and as usual, I'm here to participate in @ablaze's #ThreeTuneTuesday. Often participating in this initiative has made me rethink the size of my playlists on several occasions. Today I bring a very fresh proposal, directly from Belgium.

Angèle is a Belgian singer who has faced the European music scene with dignity, reaching the world market. Her music, usually in French, easily expresses the frustrations of youth. Its sincerity and musicality make it a super interesting proposal in the current context.

La thune is the song that perfectly characterizes society in a world manipulated by money. "Everyone wants cash... Everyone wants fame." Nothing more needed to be said. To sum up, the song uses dreamy sounds fused into a reggae rhythm, which only gives the song more irony or sarcasm, which is quite a feat.

Bruxelles je t'aime is a song that makes us feel homesick for the city we grew up in. This time the sound transports us to an atmosphere of the eighties. I don't know why, but whenever I listen to it it makes me feel a kind of joy mixed with nostalgia, but I feel something brilliant anyway.

There are several Angèle songs that, on the contrary, have a sad or reflective tone. In this case it would be worth mentioning Nombreux, Mots Justes or On s'habitue, however the one I want to highlight is Taxi. As if we were inside a movie, right in a taxi with her, we perceive all the details that she is able to see. Here the narrative is deeper, anticipating a break in a slightly chaotic scenario. For me it is one of the best songs that this artist has.

Un saludo pra todos los amantes de la música. Hoy es martes, y como de costumbre, vengo a participar en el #ThreeTuneTuesday de @ablaze. El participar a menudo en esta iniciativa me ha hecho repensar en varias ocasiones la dimensión de mis listas de reproducción. El día de hoy traigo una propuesta bastante fresca, directamente desde Bélgica.

Angèle es una cantante belga que ha afrontado dignamente el panorama musical europeo, llegando hasta el mercado mundial. Su música, generalmente en francés, expresa fácilmente las frustraciones de la juventud. Su sinceridad y musicalidad hacen que sea una propuesta súper interesante en el contexto actual.

La thune es la canción que caracteriza perfectamente a la sociedad en un mundo manipulado por el dinero. "Todo el mundo quiere efectivo... Todo el mundo quiere la fama". No hacía falta decir nada más. Para sumar, la canción usa sonidos de ensueño fusionados en un ritmo reggae, que solo dota a la canción de mayor ironía o sarcasmo, lo cual es todo una proeza.

Bruxelles je t'aime es una canción que nos hace sentir añoranza por la ciudad en que crecimos. Esta vez la sonoridad nos transporta a una atmósfera de los años ochenta. No sé por qué, pero siempre que la escucho me hace sentir una clase de alegría mezclada con nostalgia, pero de todas maneras siento algo brillante.

Son varias las canciones de Angèle que, por el contrario, tienen un tono triste o reflexivo. En este caso cabría mencionar Nombreux, Mots Justes o On s'habitue, sin embargo la que quiero resaltar es Taxi. Como si estuviéramos dentro de una película, justo en un taxi con ella, percibimos todos los detalles que ella es capaz de ver. Aquí la narrativa es más profunda, anticipando una ruptura en un escenario un poco caótico. Para mí es de las mejores canciones que tiene esta artista.
