Something bonked me in the head and I just happened to stumble on something called the TTT. Acronym for Three Tunes Tuesday and I was invited to share tunes I like. I buzzed around a bit and I think I like this. So, here goes it.
Firstly, I will tell you that this began with @ablaze, as I glimpsed in some of the posts I read. You have to tag him in your post when participating in the TTT. Okay, here I will share you three songs based on some inspiration I came across this morning. You can also share yours, tell us three tunes you love and engage with the community too. So, let us get into it…
I used to be a huge music listener but life happened and it is more of a distraction to me, but I still listen sporadically. This is Suzy, and I like this song. I am a father of one and I know that a time will come when my boy will no longer need me. He will be able to do things on his own and while I am not eagerly anticipating it, I know that day will come.
I have had to learn to manage myself being autistic; it is different with a child and mine for that matter. I have some people call me DOC, which means Daddy of the Century and I am proud of that. Would I cry when he grows up? I doubt it; I will actually laugh because my son and I are very close. We have built beautiful memories. So give it a listen, or do you already know it?
This is actually quite popular I think. I have listened to him back in the day - still do actually. This song I thought of when one of my youngest staff was telling me how she spied her neighbours fighting and yelling insults at each other. While it was funny to be told, I do not think they saw it that way. Honestly, cheating sucks and once it happens, I think it is game over.
There is a book with this title; however, I recall this song because I believe in love. It is quite soothing to listen to and, as a previous alcoholic who has won his battle with alcohol, I have to say this song does sound very good. I mean, I would not have gotten this far if I was still afraid of losing all I know. So, yeah, I like this song a lot.
So that is my first TTT. Trust me when I say my taste varies more than this. I will share more with you people but this is from within. Hope you like it and hope you share yours.
I wrote a book about my journey with and away from alcohol. I have been sober 15 years and counting. In my book How To Stay Sober In A World That Doesn't Want You To, I go into details about all I faced.

Is this the first time you heard of TTT? Cool! I like your choices, even though it's not my kind of music. But at the right moment, I would listen to it. I didn't know the first one by Suzy Bogguss. Nor have I ever heard of her, so that was nice.
I knew the Michael Bolton song, who doesn't? I do like Michael Bolton every now and then. And Olive...well, since Grease, she's captured my heart, so it's hard not to love her music. Such an incredible voice. Thanks for sharing these, and some background. I loved the choices.
