RE: Lazy Sunday for the purpose of recovery... my training diary entry from July 12 2026

I have an appointment with the doctor at noon I cannot forget to attend, I am planning to supplement some Creapure Creatine, PVL brand 100% German. I want to take it for mental benefits and relief from fatigue, stress and to improve my endurance, however I know I will need to increase my exercise if I do begin. Once I inform my doctor and find out if I have baseline kidney function information, or if I need additional tests, then I will try some. This post here, and your previous ones, are encouraging me to take that walk through the park I have been thinking about. I was getting myself to the YMCA and back each week last year, but it has been a while. Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate your gifts and am thankful for the tags.

I'm glad I can motivate you with my posts. Just don't follow my lead when it comes to my beer-fueled escapades on nice summer days. ;)

I take creatine (Creapure) myself every day. I haven't noticed any immediate benefits so far, but it is one of the most thoroughly researched supplements, and I don't think you have to worry about any negative side effects. Creapure creatine is so fine that your kidneys shouldn't suffer from residue buildup—unlike with coarser, less pure, cheap creatine.

My Doctor said no, not good for me. My Creatinine levels are high enough, but my kidney is borderline so not worth the risk. He just said to drink lots of water, take vitamin D haha oh well! Better safe than sorry.
