Yes, a mosaic, nice description. I was also a bit surprised with these patterns created by the various fields and small villages. Very cool.
I forgot again to link it, ill do that today. Although I may have better in my report on Friday, fingers crossed for a nice hike today 🤞

It's true I was thinking the same! Like a Mosaic or or like those quilts woven with scraps of different fabrics. It looks really impressive 🤩
The "blanket" is also a suitable analogy :-)
