The volcanic rocks near Marathon, Ontario, were formed over 2.5 billion years ago. These are ancient, dormant volcanic structures found on the Canadian Shield near Lake Superior, not recent eruptions

Tons of black sand on the beaches 1/2 hour North of the Sault …

We are panning up near Pancake Bay (Ontario) and White Fish Point (Michigan) all summer
