My Splinterlands Season End Rewards

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gamers. So I was able to borrow cards from our guild library. A member of our guild, Pizza A Slice of Madness made use of our library and deposited gold foil cards. I borrowed two of them and they instantly made an impact on my Modern battles. I play in the Bronze league where there are not many strong players. At the end of the season, I was in the top twenty six and was rewarded with 10k glints leaderboard reward.

Spending the Rewards

Where to spend the rewards? There are many choices in the glint shop. There are also skins from the event but I think I will purchase chests to increase my cards. I already have enough common cards so I'm thinking of spending them on rare, epic or legendary chests. The loot chests have some chances of pulling an epic or legendary cards but I don't trust my luck. I haven't pulled any legendary cards from gladiator packs so I think I will go for the sure thing. I have 55k glints but that's not enough even for one legendary chest. I guess I can buy three epic cards but I want more cards. So I decided to buy rare sets with my rewards.

I bought ten chests first and these are the cards I got. It's a guaranteed rare card so the only surprise is if I get a gold foil.

I got two copies of Gravebrand Warlock and was able to level up to two.

He got Swiftness skill which is cool. This is a skill that affects all units in the team and will be very helpful.

Next ten chests yielded the following cards.

My luck turns and I got one gold foil card. Unfortunately I don't have a dragon summoner. There are more Gravebrand Warlock and four Torrent Snipers. Another card was brought to level two.

I have 25k glints remaining and decided to spend them on fifteen chests.

I was hoping to get more Grove Doomblade from this set but only one card appeared. I had two more cards that went to level two.

That brings my purchases to a close and my rare cards were stronger and ready to play in Modern. I still have a bit of glint left but I will save it for next season purchases.
