Borrowing Splinterlands Cards from the Library

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! Being a member of the Pizza (A Slice of Madness) Guild offers a lot of benefits. We can earn merits and SPS, 5% discount in shops and have a multiplier in SPS earned. There's a new benefit for joining a guild through a building that will help beginners and members with fewer cards: It's the Library.

In the Library, members with excess cards can deposit them.

Members of the guild can borrow the deposited cards and it works similar to delegated cards that can be used not just in brawls but also in Modern and Wild formats. It allows every member in the guild to compete at a higher level regardless of their own deck strength. This maximizes the value of idle cards and strengthens teamwork in the guild.

The Library can be upgraded like all other buildings. The higher the level, the more cards can be deposited. The Library starts at level one and accepts fifty cards to be deposited.

Level two increases the cards to fifty until max level that accepts up to five hundred cards. One whale in the guild can help his guild mates enjoy the game more by depositing cards and let them borrow.

Borrowing and Testing Cards

A generous member in our guild, @aironeous deposited gold foil copies. I borrowed one of them to test.

A gold foil tank that's part of the new Escalation set recently released. It's very a strong card. It has four attack, seven armor, ten life and three speed. It has a high mana requirement of fourteen so you have to choose the games when to put it.

I played it in Modern format and I like this card's strength. I checked the other cards in the library and they're equally strong. The new cards like Ballista Deadshot, Godsnot Sorceress and Magnificent Mollusk have high attacks.

I don't play in Modern that much because of my limited cards but if I can borrow more cards then maybe I can play in the Bronze level.

Conclusion

Having tested the Library, I'm getting motivated to play in Modern. I also checked the new cards and thinking of buying. The Library enticed me to try Modern format once more and made me want to buy cards. I like this new building that helps weaker members in the guild with few cards in the deck.
