ON MY CASE

I have seen the goodness of God and it’s always interesting how different it feels all the time. Life hasn’t been the best I’d say but then, I see his fingerprints everywhere. He loves me and I see it and I know it. One beautiful thing I enjoy when I face challenges or tough times is the opportunity to be closer to God. It’s hard to remember God when you are enjoying life and getting all the things that you ever want. Not all the time but most of the time. Especially for someone who has never once believed he lives.

It’s already weekend and as you all know, today is a day I have set aside to share at least one song from my playlist. These days, I find myself more attracted to songs that are acknowledging the presence of God in my life. I have struggled with a lot of things lately and it only normal that I run to the one I know can help me no matter what. I have made a lot of mistakes to those around me and I know very well how they all reacted towards my flaws. It wasn’t the best experience and at that moment, the only one I had to run to was God. Yes, I had others to run to but I know it could go the other way with them so why risk it?

During the past 3 weeks, this song has been on my playlist and there has been hardly any day that has passed that I didn’t listen to it. My reaction every time I listen to the song showed me just how much I was in need of a true friend and how happy I was that I had one. Like, do you know what it means for someone to be on your case? And that person is just not any ordinary person, he is the chief judge! God has been on my case for as long as my little tiny brain can remember. But my spirit bears witness with God’s spirit that he has always been there.

I just concluded my first semester 300 level examination on Thursday and listening to this song was part of the things that kept me going. Interestingly, despite how unsure and unprepared I felt for that exam, I was still willing to give it my best. I was worried. I was confused and I was tired, but I didn’t lose faith. It almost happened but I just couldn’t lose faith it will mean over for me. I held on to the promise that he is always on my case and I kept pushing the harder it got and guess what? I got to the finish line and it’s all thanks the one that has always stood by me even when no one was there.

ON MY CASE is one of the many songs sang by MARIZU. It’s a beautiful afrobeat gospel song and it’s a great song to try out. Interestingly how because of just one song of this artist that I listened to, I opted in to download as many of his songs as I could find. And I love all of them. With time I will share more with you all but for now, go and listen to this one and have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, stay tuned. 🌹

The songs that are made for God are very inspiring for the human being, it is a reminder that he is and will always be there for us, both in good and bad times, he is the best solution for the problems and loves us immensely, even if sometimes we are so lost in the affairs of the world that we can not perceive him.
