When a good woman and a good man meets
What a beautiful thing to wake up early in the morning knowing fully well that breakfast is served waiting for you at the dining table. All you just need to do is to put in a little effort to rise from your sleeping material and take a little walk to the dining room and dive into a good meal.
This usually is experienced by some good men and women in our today's society who have been blessed to be in good relationships and good homes where they have family members or caring partners or spouses.
I remember back in the days when my mom always had
to wake up very early in the morning to prepare breakfast, from the time I was little to even the time when I entered higher institutions. I really value the sacrifices she made to be able to keep food on the table before it's late.a
I know that it's not easy for someone to abandon their sweet sleep for many years just to make sure others feel happy and succeed.
Most moms don’t really put in much effort but there are mothers who make the desires of their family a top priority. They can sacrifice their time and everything to make sure that things are moving smoothly in the family.
Mothers are always trying, taking care of children in the family and it is not easy though it may look as an easy task. To be honest, I've spent some quality time with my little niece and nephew and most of the time their mother will travel to a distant location leaving them with me. That was how I got to understand a bit of what women pass through in taking care of a child. Infact it's not easy. From washing their dirty clothes, to cleaning them up after they shit, to fighting in the name of feeding them and trying to make them eat by almost begging even when you're the one who put in the effort in the food preparations.
It's not even easy to withstand their loud voices in times when they cry uncontrollably. Even sometimes when still at work and trying to endure to finish up and rest, one of the babies might just start craving to be carried by you. I had to pass through all this carrying a baby even when I was having headaches and feeling faint. Sometimes while carrying one, the other will get jealous and wants to be carried too. Women are indeed trying because truly all the way from carrying a baby for 9 months to child birth is not easy, let alone raising them.
Some men on their own part are great heroes because these set if men knows just how to take care of their women to make sure no more stress is added to the one they are already enduring. These set of men are the providers, they go outside and fetch whatever is needed in the house to sustain life. Most men take on very dangerous jobs. I've seen men stand on high voltage electric poles very high above the ground fixing somethings on it. Men take great risks to be able to take care of their families and loved ones.
I wish a day will come when both men and women will learn of better ways to celebrate and appreciate one another because of the knowledge and understanding of the sacrifice both put in making their families and the world a better place.
