My first post in this community and I am excited to be a part of this community , few days back after I got to this community and I had to make some research about what been frugal was all about cause I never really had any idea of what that word really meant although I have heard it here and there but after making some findings I found out that the word frugal in terms of personal finance actually means more than I actually thought.

I can't just explain what that word is without using myself as a big example as someone who didn't know what it means to be frugal my spending and finance is just not calculated spending more on things I don't really need and been stingy about things that are very important to me.

Take for instance one recent event that occurred to me ,when it comes to having stable power supply my place isn't something to right home about on that front cause sometimes we could go two or even three months without any source of power supply and the high cost of petroleum fuel means I can't go any where close to get fuel for the power generator,the other option i have is solar and the cost of it actually it is something you hardly see around local houses ,now we have to hang around any house that put on the generator so we can charge our phones but to do that you have to be using a very good charger since they light wouldn't be on for long,that was the problem I had for sometime now although I could afford get a new charger at some point but the calculations of other things I want to spend that money on makes me take my mind off it eventually.

But after so much struggle with the charger I had that could on for hours without getting my phone fully charged I had to get a wake up call from my elder sister who has had enough of my complaining and she was so annoyed like" what are you doing take out of the money with you and get a charger that's what you need the most at this point"well thank God I listened to her cause I have been enjoying my new charger without stress and with the confidence that within some few ours my phone will be full and I can use it for the things that really matter the most so let's be frugal not stingy.
