No Weekend Show? Maybe WOO Is Getting the BETA Packs Ready for Their Big Entrance

A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!

Wrestling fans are used to waiting for the next big entrance. The lights go down, the music starts, and everyone wonders who is coming through the curtain. WOO seems to have its own version of that feeling at the moment, except this time the mystery is not about a surprise wrestler appearing in the ring. It is about the upcoming BETA packs and what they could bring to the game.

I have gotten some feedback that reminders are pretty useful when it comes to the regular events held in WOO. So here I am again with a quick reminder for any upcoming events.

With no major weekend activity to talk about, I am wondering whether we are simply in a waiting period before the next big development. Of course, I am only guessing as a fan, but preparing a new pack sale and making sure all the related features are ready sounds like a sizeable job. The announcement mentions the Store, Marketplace, Collection, Pack Opening and wrestler pages, along with upgrades connected to the Earn system. That is quite a lot for players to look forward to beyond the packs themselves.

I am particularly interested in the fact that each pack will contain five cards from a limited pool of 60 Beta talents. There will be male singles, female singles and tag teams, giving collectors different types of cards to chase. It also means that opening packs could become part of the fun, especially for those who enjoy discovering which wrestlers they have picked up rather than simply buying a particular card from the marketplace.

There is also a small detail worth watching. Buying a Beta pack with $WOO is planned to come with a Jobber Pack and a Gym Bag as well, while purchases using SWAP.HIVE or SWAP.HBD receive the Beta Pack alone. That gives people another reason to compare their options before buying. I am curious to see how players respond to this arrangement once the sale actually begins.

Maybe WOO is quiet this weekend because there is no need to squeeze another activity into the calendar just yet. If a major launch is approaching, giving the community time to discuss it and decide what they want to do could be useful in its own way. I would rather see a new feature arrive in good shape than have a busy weekend followed by a launch that leaves everyone confused.

Until the BETA packs make their entrance, we can enjoy the speculation. The interesting part is that we already know some of the details, but there are still plenty of things we will only discover when the packs become available. For a wrestling game, that is not a bad way to build anticipation.

TLDR: This is a reminder to all my readers (and WOO fans) that baring any last minute sudden surprise events, this weekend should be a relatively quiet one. 😜

Well, that's it for today. We will continue again tomorrow! 😁 WOO! 🎉
