A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!
It is another fairly quiet weekend in WOO, and there does not seem to be much happening on the events front. Normally, I would be looking around for something to participate in, but perhaps we should not be too quick to complain. After all, we have been hearing about something quite big coming to WOO, and maybe there is a good reason for the silence.
With WOO Promotions on the horizon, I imagine there is quite a bit of work going on behind the scenes. We are not just talking about another small feature or a new set of rewards. Promotions are supposed to introduce a different way for players to work together, build something collectively, and eventually compete against other groups. That sounds like a fairly substantial addition to the game.
Perhaps the developers are busy making sure all the pieces fit together properly. We have heard about Headquarters and Buildings, with different requirements involving treasury WOO and Performance Points. There is also the Booking Office and the whole Territory Wars concept to consider. That is quite a lot of moving parts to get right, especially when these systems are meant to work together.
So maybe the reason we have a quiet weekend is that somebody is still putting the finishing touches on our future wrestling headquarters. I would rather have a system that works properly than have everything rushed out just to give us something to do over the weekend.
Besides, I suspect some of us will have plenty to keep ourselves occupied with once Promotions finally arrive. There will be decisions to make, structures to build, and probably a fair bit of discussion about how best to organise our little wrestling empires.
For now, perhaps we should give the construction crew some time. Just make sure they remember to install the wrestling ring!
