Market Mornings are Sometimes Exciting and Fun -Let's Go One Stall At a Time ft. Sweet Palitaw

I only put a small amount in my pocket because I don't have the plan to buy anything today. I still have a leftover Batchoy which I bought last Friday, lol. Yes, last FRIYAY! Lol. How can one serving of dish last that long no? Haha. Well, you see, I cook it again and sauteed it with garlic and onion and added more water in it. I also added a tablespoon of vinegar for a long life of the dish ƪ(‾.‾“)┐, heh. But to be honest, a serving of dish from my favorite Carinderia is really big that this is possible. Another thing is, I don't eat much when it comes to viand especially if its a stew where just the sarsa is already a viand to eat with rice. And that's why this dish can last a lifetime -I mean a few days to me. Hihi

Now, I am only buying fish -AGAIN!! -for Mommy F. We used this route so we're headed straight on this path. This plant is on the side road and its really crazy how this plant grow bigger in a short time..its just a small plant back then, I feel like it is only month ago when I first shared this plant here but now it grow more and it already spread too. Its pretty because it blooms a unique kind of flowers.

Anyways, its not yet too sunny when went out, good for us. And I am so thankful that it us windy too so the walk is more fun

Becayse today is Sunday, it's Tiangge-an day here. Love that it is more spacious here now. There's not much people in here yet when we check but that's in favor for me actually.

We didn't stay in here because what we need is on the next building, to the wet market. I only found GG, there's not much fish available in there too. And actually, I had to think first what to buy for Mommy F, the expensive fish or just the veggies. But I am sure that Mommy F prefer fish than vegetables. I want to get both, like carrot and chayote but goodness, carrot is 150 per kilo here. Like WHY, again!!?. I'm curious how much is carrot in other part of the Philippines,nor in your country? Yes you, who's reading it.

After minutes of going back and forth in the market, I decided to get the Galunggong (GG). We then go back to the Tiangge-an. You can see lots of products here, from veggies to fruits. Look at those big watermelon. I miss eating it, I also miss pineapple and pears. When did I last eat those? I can't remember anymore ಠ◡ಠ

Then mama spotted someone she knows in one od the stall, to be honest at first I had no idea who it is. But after looking at the face, I was like "ah, yes, she has carinderia neat the gymnasium and the park.". I think Mama has clearer vision than me, lol. So what actually caught her attention is the Palitaw. Oh how I miss this! Btw, she's also selling Palabok.

Here's the exciting part, we bought just the Palitaw. To be honest, my favorite Palitaw is from Ka Donnie. Her version is always the best because she uses peanut in her as a toppings. I've been planning to make that actually but just to lazy to do so. I should schedule that asap!

But look at this deliciousness! It was coated with grated fresh coconut. Then she topped it with sugar and roasted sesame seeds. This version is really good too actually. I just wish there's more sesame seeds than sugar because its too sweet for me. Still, I will eat it again, maybe once a week? Hehe

I am so happy I get to eat a Palitaw again. Its been what, can't really remember anymore the last time. You see, the most sold kakamin here in only rice cake, sapin sapin, suman, espasol, maja, but palitaw? I don't see them much here. I remember the last time I ate Palitaw was when I went to Pinamalayan with Mama. So seeing this here in tiangge-an made me really happy. Mama is also happy about it. ♪┌|∵|┘♪
