Phone Photography Contest: A Stroll in a Japanese Neighborhood Park

Hello everyone! I'm joining the Phone Photography contest by @untilwelearn for the first time. I usually take photos with my phone whenever I see nice views. This is to preserve the memories and emotions I felt when I look back at the images. These photos were from my travel in Japan. We would sometimes stroll along the residential areas. Due to the cold weather, it's pleasant to walk even if the sun is up.

As usual, during these walks, we would enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. The narrow and clean streets wind gently between tidy rows of homes. Many houses are modest two-story structures with tiled roofs. Outside the gates, rows of hedges and flowers border the entrances.

In a slightly wider street, we spotted an entrance to a park. It's a modest park, but it's clean and full of colors with all the flowers and trees all around.

Children laugh as they play on the swing, while the not so young like us sit beneath the trees.

Just outside the park, there are occasional passersby on their bikes which is a common mode of transportation in Japan.

After a while, it was time to get back home. It was a pleasant walk, the mix of nature and daily life was peaceful. I love my vacation in Japan where we can simply breathe and enjoy some peace and quiet and escape the rigors of busy work life.
