Some Nice Sculptures - Phone Photography Contest 66

Hello there! It feels good to have you come around this post. As usual, I'm glad to be sharing these shots today. I always enjoy the photography thing, and thanks for this privilege to showcase this.

So, I'll be sharing some shots taken recently. I had to put some considerations on what to bring before the camera for this purpose.. Then, it turned out to be something out of my normal preference, of nature.

The shots are of sculptures that date back some years. They were made in a public higher educational institution where I reside. They were supposedly made by the fine and applied art students of the school, for projects or something. Many exist, so I guess they've been doing some work. However, I'll be sharing just a few, hopefully, another time more Will be shared. Let's perhaps take this as part one then, haha.

First, it was this lion. It looked well erected on a platform that now looks broken. Probably, if you walk in the night and just happen to stumble upon the scene while carried out away, it could be a wonderful frightening moment, haha. So, I imagine at least. Since it's a lion, you would expect it to roar right? The sculpture was made to look like a lion roaring.

The other was that of a man weightlifting. I can't say how many kilograms the weight must be, but he's probably having a hard time, haha. He looked to be on one knee, so maybe he was at the point of struggling to lift it. The area around was kind of bushy, and it looked like it wasn't built on a solid platform. Behind you could see another sculpture, I'm yet to explore that.

It was felt good taking these shots and sharing them here. The sculptures aren't totally looking well in the design as they were made by hands who just learned, I'll say, with some parts looking broken too, but a sight to behold. Hope to bring in more.

Thank you for viewing these shots!

Na the lion make me laugh o. It is looking like it wants to eat and roar at the same time.

The other statue of the man is normal. When you want to carry what is bigger than you, then of course you will feel itπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
