Under the Sun in Puerto Cabello | Phone Photography Contest - #124 (Esp/Eng)

Today is a special day because I’m reminiscing about this unique family moment from about two months ago. I believe every photograph holds a story; I call it “immortalizing memories.” I took these photos in Puerto Cabello (Venezuela) with my Redmi Note 12 Pro and an iPhone 15. We drove for about two hours to cool off a bit in the ocean. So I'm entering this Phone Photography

Hoy es un día especial, porque estoy recordando este momento único en familia, hace aproximadamente 2 meses, considero que cada fotografía guarda una historia, yo lo llamo inmortalizar recuerdos. Estas fotografías fueron tomadas en Puerto Cabello- Venezuela con mi teléfono Redmi note 12 pro y un iPhone 15. Viajamos aproximadamente 2 horas para purificarnos un poco con el agua del mar. Así me uno a éste concurso de Phone Photography

Our first stop was Playa la Rosa, a beautiful private beach where we took these photos with a heart-shaped arch (I remember the sand was really hot, so I decided to go barefoot the whole way).

Nuestro primer destino fue Playa la Rosa, una linda playa privada donde nos tomamos ésta fotos con un arco en forma de corazón (recuerdo que la arepa quemaba mucho y yo decidí estar descalza en todo el trayecto).

So I kept taking photos—of my silhouette, and then with my little cousin, who was making sandcastles at the water’s edge. They say time moves slowly at the beach, and yes, I can confirm it: I don’t know what strange phenomenon that is, but I feel like the hours spent at the beach are more enjoyable.

Así continué tomándome fotografías, de mi silueta, y luego con mi prima pequeña quien hacía figuras a la orilla del mar. Dicen que el tiempo en el mar pasa lento, y sí, lo certifico, no se que fenómeno extraño sea ese pero siento que las horas en el mar se disfrutan más.

And finally, the Puerto Cabello boardwalk, just as beautiful as I remembered it; sometimes it’s good to break out of the routine, disconnect from the day-to-day, and enjoy wonderful moments with family. That wraps up my post; I hope you’ve enjoyed writing this as much as I did. Hugs 🫂.
