When Abilities Matters In Battle

One thing about splinterlands battle is that card abilities matters a lot and this is one reason why most people make sure to always use maxed cards thanks to the fact that there is no card limit in any league and this give players more chance especially when they never underestimate what level their opponent might bring on board. This particular battle I had was really a funny one but got help with the strategy I know will work best while combining it with the abilities that really go in like with the ruleset. During this battle I had with altryx, first of it I had to check the ruleset to know what sup, we had Unprotected which take away anything relating to armour from all monster cards which mean you have more chance in hitting monster cards health, in this case, I can use any card and not just magic card alone, we also had equalize which put all cards to equal health based on the top health card and lastly is the poison ability which dealt -2 health to all card at the end of each round unless that card have immunity or is cleansed.

We had 37 mana capped and we could pick between earth, death or dragon element as usual for me it will always be death element or dragon with death combo, my death collect have 2 immune cards which I can use but I only decided to use one. Setting my formation, I place my maxed Cursed Windeku with the thorn, slow and heal as my frontline, place Shadow snitch next to it with the reach and affliction ability, I always use this card for a reason which is to prevent my opponent card from healing when activated. Went all in with my low mana magic cards like, max Life Sapper with life leech and redemption, maxed Venari bonesmith with life leech, poison and dispel, Magic necrosi with the snipe, camouflage and oppress and lastly was Revealer with the stun, immune and reflection shield

First of all I was glad my opponent didn't using any sneak card if not, he would have roast my only immune option which was really vulnerable to sneak cards but he didn't think of that, he also use Harklaw as his immune card but placed it in a too easy to target position but decided to place martyr card so as to boost the harklaw, the battle was chaotic and I was already thinking all hope will be lost but I destroy his harklaw which is his immune card and that game me some hope, I was stunning while attacking and at some point, I only have revealer against two of his cards and the immune prevent him from poisoning me and at the end it was easy for me to destroy him.
