The Baron's Bitcoin Halving Promo Event | The Power Of Baron Fyatt

Since the beginning of the hear, most crypto users have been anticipating the bitcoin halving day which according to everyone will have a great effect on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general because we believe there will be increase in crypto price and the launch of another crypto bull market, the splinterlands team decided to honour the incoming bitcoin halving moment by launching the Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Promo Event which is one of it kind, an event we the splinterland users get to enjoy and it is a juicy one because there are lot of juicy prize attached to it, there have been lot of event in the past which were successful and users really benefit a lot from them.

Analysing The Promo Event Cards

Truth be told, they really did justice to this particular card Baron Fyatt and if you know what you are doing, it is one card you should have in your collect, first of all it is a legendary dual based monster cards from two element, fire and death. Death is one of my favourite element after water which make me really like this particular cards and to top it all, it is a magic card. There is no way you will view this card without noticing the abilities combo attached to it, first is the halving (which cut target strength into half when hit) which represent the halving event and scattershot (which attack random cards) at level 1, just this really make the card one of the badass card in the game because the main reason players will want to bring this card onboard and secure it is just to reduce opponent cards strength, level 3 gave it the ambush ability which allow it attack first before the battle begins and at max level we have the blind ability which make opponent melee and range cards miss their target at 15% chance.

The second promo cards is Henchling enforcer which is a rare based range monster cards which some amazing abilities as well, it also came with the halving ability, true strike which won't make it miss any target (lvl 4) and the camouflage ability which will make it invisible to attack until it reach the first position or got hit by scattershot ability. Not really a fan of range card but this really look cool and to top it all, it is a duo based card from water and life element.

How To Participate In The Promo Event

Head over to the shop section and the event will be the first thing you will see with lot of informations, currently getting 1 Baron Fyatt is going for 31,250 dec or point without voucher and it reduce gradually based on the voucher you want to use and also Henchling enforcer is going for 3,125 dec or credit and it also reduce when you apply voucher and the amount of card you purchase increase your prize rewards price at the end of the whole event. There are about $100k in reward ranging from 500 PLOT tokens, 100 Alpha packs, 250 Beta packs, 500 Untamed Packs, 50 Essence Orb Packs, 100 Azmare Dice Packs, 20 Runi NFTs which will be shared to all participants based on their chances.

I had to rent a maxed Baron Fyatt just to showcase how interesting and dangerous this particular card is especially if you try to make it look invisible or secure and not destroyed easily. I had the battle with zallin and we had 39 mana capped with these following ruleset Ferocity, Heavy hittler and Weak magic. I was somehow bothered with the weak magic ruleset because my opponent might decide to use armoured based cards but nevertheless I decided to use dragon paired with fire element when selecting my cards I had to bring in the battle and I make sure they are strong enough.

i picked robo knight dragon as frontline then support it with lvl 1 Kei because of the enfeeble ability then picked Dragon jumper as my opportunity cards. i had to placed Baron kyatt next to it with the hope that it is somehow safe at that position and hoping my opponent don't use abilities that will affect it, then I picked Goblin Firemage and batterling ram. My opponent really came prepared especially with the sentry he brought on board but if you check the battle you will notice how baron really player the countering game so well by halving most of the cards it touch and I was happy when it halve sentry strength to 2 which really render it weak.

I know he won't be expecting how the battle play out and how I make his cards weak and I won the battle with lesser damage.
